5 Reasons to use Organic Cloth Diapers

Everyone is trying to “Go Green” and help the environment. Everyone is trying to do their little part to save our giant world. And there are many things you can do. You can drive a hybrid car, use bio-fuel and use organic cloth diapers.

Why use organic cloth diapers?

You are going to be putting diapers on your child anyways so why not use a diaper that isn’t going to sit in a landfill for 20+ years. Regular disposable diapers don’t just disappear. And they are far from reusable. Organic cloth diapers will never rot in a landfill. They won’t just be thrown in the garbage. Don’t you think its kind of gross to see all of our garbage just sitting in giant heaps? I do. I do not want to look out my back window one day, just to see a giant heap of disposable diapers. I mean, sure you can throw them away, but that does not mean they go away.

What are organic cloth diapers?

Organic cloth diapers are diapers that are made of 100% natural materials (Reason # 1). Whether it be made of hemp or cotton, the products used are natural, non-processed fabrics. This means that when its finally thrown away, it won’t just sit on top of the earth. It will be able to break down quickly and recycle into the earth. It is all natural, so it will not hurt the earth.

Why else should I use organic cloth diapers?

Well, here is a very good reason – they save you money (Reason # 2). Did you know that by the time your child is potty trained, you will spend nearly $2,000 on diapers? When I say on diapers, I mean the disposable diapers. But, organic cloth diapers are only about $20 for a dozen. Who does not like to save money. Everybody that does not like to save money, please raise your hands. What is this? I do not see a single hand up in the air. That must mean there is not a single person that does not like to save money.

I absolutely love these organic cloth diapers. I like the whole idea of organic anything. But, these are great for when I have kids. They are not going to experience irritation (Reason # 3) due to the stuff in the disposable diapers, I get to save money and I get to help the environment (Reason # 4). If that is not a great combination, then I don’t know what is. Seriously, think about it. Doesn’t it sound great? Doing your part for our planet while taking care of your child and saving money? Yeah, I thought so too.

Oh, here’s another reason, they are reusable (Reason # 5). That isĀ  right, you can just wash and reuse. They save you time, money and they help save the environment. What else could you ask for? Give it a shot. Organic cloth diapers are the new “black”. Its the cool thing to do, and in this case its actually good to try and follow the cool crowd.
